AZIZAM: The Farsi word for 'My Dear'.
This marriage rug was hand woven by a Baluchi bride-to-be as a dowry ahead of her wedding.
Traditionally, the weaver indicates the number of children she wants by the number of love birds she includes on the rug.
The rug is made of camel hair and dyed sheep's wool.
The Baluchi are a nomadic tribe. They find their home in south-east Iran, the south of Afghanistan and western Pakistan.
